Chongqing- The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP) was officially signed on November 15th, 2020, when ASEAN joined hands with China, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand to establish the largest free trade zone worldwide after 31 rounds of negotiations spanning eight years. A group of distinguished guests accepted the invitation of Chongqing Opportunity to discuss the RCEP. They are Mr.Tony Wen, Deputy General Manager of Chongqing Chinabase Import and Export Co., Ltd；Mr. Wan Zhijun, Deputy General Manager of Chongqing SOKON Motor (Group) IMP.& EXP. Co., Ltd.; Mr. Alex Wei, Tax Associate Director of PwC Chongqing Office; and Mrs. Liu Yi from the Law Department of China Council For The Promotion of International Trade Chongqing Committee.

On the afternoon of November 25, Mr.Aragaw Tilahun Dessie, the Ethiopian consul general in Chongqing, and the consul general assistant Vivienne Mou visited our company. General Manager Liu Hua, Deputy general manager Wen Hua, Manager Yin Xiaohui of auto parts department and Manager Liao Tiejun of fluid equipment Department warmly welcomed them on behalf of all the staff, and introduced the development history, business scope, overseas offices and foreign investment of our company to them.Afterwards, Consul Mr.Aragaw Tilahun Dessie and Consul General Assistant Vivienne Mou introduced Ethiopia's economy, major export products and tax policies. After friendly exchanges, both sides expressed the wish to have in-depth exchanges and further establish cooperative relations.

At 19:30 on the evening of January 31, 2020, a plane carrying 1.9 million medical masks landed smoothly at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport. These masks are medical supplies purchased by Chongqing Chinabase Import and Export Co., Ltd from Vietnam and donated to the Chongqing Charity Association. There is a story in it, the story will start on January 24, 2020: >>On January 24, 2020, China Base Corporation established the China Base Anti-epidemic Team. >>On January 31, 2020, 1.9 million medical surgical masks entered Chongqing from Vietnam. >>On February 1, 2020, 600,000 medical surgical masks entered Sichuan from Vietnam. Work history: contact the Vietnam factory → confirm the number of masks → → register and apply for approval → confirm the mode of transportation → → communicate with relevant departments → → start the Sino-Vietnam journey → → deliver to the front-line personnel.   Since CQCB has been doing business in the Vietnamese market for a long time, it has a wide range of local contacts in Vietnam. Through the introduction of partners, we met a mask production factory, placed an order for 2.5 million masks, after that, the next step was choosing the transportation method. After a series of communication and collaboration, we got the route approval from the Civil Aviation Administration of China and chose charter transportation to ship back to China in the shortest time.   In order to respond to the call of the country and to give back to the society, CQCB has a sense of responsibility to the society. In this special period, we will do our best and hope to complete this work at all costs. After arduous efforts, we finally ushered in the dawn of victory. All masks arrived in Sichuan and Chongqing on January 31 and February 1, respectively. On February 2, Vietnam announced the suspension of flights. When the Chongqing Charity Federation received the medical supplies donated by Sinobase Corporation, it replied: this is the first chartered flight donated to fight the epidemic. It is not easy. In addition, CQCB imported two millions pairs of medical gloves and denote all of them to Chongqing Charity Association for free.
